Alsace wines tasted and noted by oenologists, winemakers and committed wine lovers: every year, a tasting session is held over several days at the BARMES BUECHER Estate, and about 50 wines are noted and evaluated.

Clarification of some of the expressions used about our wines:
They show the balance as found on the palate between residual sugar, alcohol, acidity and the general vinous structure. Obviously, these appreciations will vary from one person to another, but they are given in order to avoid possible mistakes.

"This wine tastes dry" : technically dry.
"This wine tastes slightly sweet" : the sweetness shows more when a wine is young, and will disappear progressively with bottle age.
"This wine tastes sweet" : Very close to the sweetness of a Late Harvest wine.
